aftercare:
When your tattoo is finished we will clean and cover the area with clingfilm. About an hour and a half after you
leave the studio you need to remove the covering and give the whole area a good
wash with soap and warm water. Pat the area dry, DO NOT rub dry. Cover your tattoo with a thin layer of Bepanthen (see below) area 3 times a
day. Bepanthen is available from all chemists and supermarkets. This cream will prevent your tattoo from
drying out / scabbing. We recommend using this cream during the
whole healing process which is around 1-2 weeks.
To ensure the best possible result for your healed tattoo we recommend you avoid the following:
PICKING - do not prematurely remove any scabs as the ink maybe pulled away with the scab.
SAUNAS and SWIMMING - can cause infection and will result is soggy scabs that will come away too early.
SUN - sunburn is painful enough but a sun burnt fresh tattoo will be both uncomfortable and hard to heal.
Also be sure to avoid : DUST, PAINT, CEMENT, OIL, GREASE, AND CAUSTIC SUBSTANCES.
